Allround Rotunda Restoration
Elliott Scaffolding were called upon to assist with the Edmonds Band Rotunda restoration project in Christchurch. The historic rotunda restoration project involved some very careful planning, 3D designs, and heavy-duty propping.
Using Layher Allround Scaffolding, Elliott Scaffolding built 4 x 16 standard heavy duty propping towers to support the weight of the rotunda. Each corner has a heavy-duty propping tower that can carry 54 tons of weight – when combined, the total capacity is 216 tons!
