  • We currently have an opportunity for an Engineering Draughtsperson to join our national technical team based in the Wellington office. The duties will include: preparing scaffold, event and protective systems designs, 3D CAD drawings, site surveys, project coordination and supporting with tender documentation.

    You will be part of a national engineering team providing innovative design solutions for temporary works, enabling clients to apply Layher products efficiently and safely, offering comprehensive technical support and ensuring compliance and applications comply with AS/NZS standards.

    What you’ll need

    Key attributes sought in the appointee include:

    • A relevant Engineering or Engineering Drafting qualification.
    • Proficient in 3D CAD design software, preferably AutoCAD.
    • Familiarity with design software, standards and best practices within your area of specialism.
    • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to support the team internally and externally.
    • Ability to multi-task while maintaining a high standard of professionalism.

  • Sales Manager (Auckland)

    • Auckland and Upper North Island

  • This role, based in Auckland, reports directly to the Branch Manager and is focused on the sales of Layher products across the upper North Island. This appointment will play a critical role in ensuring that growth is achieved through an ongoing focus on sales activities, customer relationships and technical product knowledge.

    Growing new business

    As the successful candidate you will identify Layher’s viable market opportunities and execute the necessary sales strategy to achieve the desired commercial outcomes for the business. You will be accountable for improving existing revenue with current customers and driving new business acquisition.

    What you’ll need

    You must have a proven track-record of generating revenue growth through effective business to business technical sales, while a background in the construction and/or a technical qualification will be highly beneficial. You will need to be motivated by the on-going challenge to identify new business opportunities, respond promptly and adequately to customer enquiries and finally “close the deal”.
