  • The Opportunity

    We need a strategic thinker as well as a talented doer to join this private sector company who are world leaders and specialists within the construction and maintenance industry. They have a vast network of customers and a breadth of projects throughout New Zealand.

    As the sole-charge marketing specialist, you will take the lead on various marketing strategies and be responsible for crafting digital content, campaigns, marketing collateral and industry events. You will help to continue raise the organisations profile, contribute to maintaining engagement and fine-tune marketing initiatives to ensure the brand and products are positioned well in the market.

    Your role will see you:

    • Develop and execute marketing plans in line with the company’s vision
    • Create and deliver engaging content across a range of platforms
    • Produce content to market events including conferences, trade shows, product demonstrations and training
    • Coordinate photography and videography at industry events and client projects
    • Increase the brand awareness and strategically consider expansion of opportunities
    • Manage and optimise the company website including content updates and ongoing improvements
    • Develop and coordinate social media content and post across relevant platforms
    • Ensure brand consistency across print and digital collateral
    • Maintain positive working relationships with clients and industry stakeholders
    • Collaborate with the Managing Director and wider team when marketing brand and products

    What you’ll bring:

    You will bring a creative flair which means you’re always looking for new ways to improve the quality of content and brand awareness, along with:

    • Proven experience in a similar role (Built environment ideal but not essential)
    • Excellent communication with the ability to write clear, concise, and compelling content
    • The ability to prioritise key projects and meet deadlines
    • Proven relationship management skills with both internal and external stakeholders
    • A marketing degree (desirable but not essential)
    • Proficiency in MS Office and Adobe Creative Suite

    • We are happy to consider full time or 3-4 days per week
