Instant Success with Craneable Scaffold

This recladding and reroofing project, at CBH Kwinana West Australia, has been ongoing for a period of 14 months. Layher Scaffolding is approximately 70 metres long, sits 40 metres above ground and rests on top of grain silos. A 250 tonne crane is required to lower the scaffold down in 15 metre sections and then repositioned. Layher Allround was the perfect choice, being quick to erect and very stable under lift conditions.

Scaffold design for strong winds

The complete relocation taking approx 10 hours for a 3 man scaffold team and crane crew, with at least 2 hours spent installing anchors to silo concrete slab. Being right on the coast and subject to strong winds from time to time, design was critical and the Layher design team provided drawings and support that enabled our team to exceed all client expectations.
