133 Molesworth Street
Geeves Scaffolding were commissioned by Fletcher Construction to erect the scaffolding for the 133 Molesworth Street Project. Approximately 70 tonne of Layher Allround was used for exterior scaffold and interior propping with the exterior being completed over a five week period.
Diagonal bracing
“Only two legs every five metres could be landed as they were building the lower extension from the building while the scaffolding was up. Diagonal bracing was used extensively throughout the base” said Operations Director, Tim Geeves.

The client was very happy with the speed of the construction which took five scaffolders 1100 man hours to complete the build. “The speed that the Layher Scaffolding System went up on the exterior allowed the contractors to move along with their work and stay within the contracts tight timeline” he said.
