Electric Timber Mill Access

Euro Scaffold Solutions have been providing extensive scaffolding services to Lumbercube for their timber mill in Rotorua.

Scaffold access

Lumbercube is the first mill of its type outside of Europe and Canada and presented unique challenges to provide scaffold access to their electric motors, scanners and chains on the elevator.

Work area access

The challenge was to provide platforms above the cutting saws and not to impede the working area of the elevators whilst suspended from the steel work.

Fast installation

Neil Lunt said using the Layher System has been integral to achieving a fast installation and provided the client with a fully functional platform area while they work out operational problems of the new mill.
