Civil Temporary Roof

Civil Works Scaffolding were engaged by Moana Construction to erect a temporary Hybrid roof on this Puketea Close site in Paraparaumu, Wellington.
“Using the Layher Allround System with the Keder Roof support at the top of the scaffolding and having one lattice beam 2 metres longer than the opposite side made spanning the two different lengths of roof pitches possible. That way both scaffolding structures could be built on solid ground next to the house” said Gary Porter of Civil Works Scaffolding.

Dry working environment

12 tonne of gear was used on the project by four scaffolders over a 5 day period with Gary commenting that “The contractor enjoyed having a dry working environment on a daily basis”.
