Delivering Confidence from the Ground Up – Fallproof

Delivering Confidence from the Ground Up in Queenstown

Perched on Queenstown’s exclusive Panorama Terrace, this high-end residential renovation required complete protection from the elements for nearly a year. With full re-roofing and exterior cladding upgrades planned, the client needed a reliable, long-term cover that could handle Queenstown’s changeable alpine weather.

All-weather protection for an alpine climate

Fallproof was engaged to deliver a solution, and they did so with precision, efficiency, and care. The team installed a temporary hybrid roof, custom-designed to cover the entire structure for the project’s duration.

“Our client wanted an all-weather solution that would allow detailed renovation work to proceed without interruption. We worked with Layher’s engineering team to design a hybrid roof tailored to the site, it proved to be the ideal answer on a complex hillside location.” – Brent Jarvis

The system combined Layher Aluminium Beams, Ridge Sections, and Keder Roof components, offering both strength and adaptability.

“The Keder supports and bracing made a huge difference in the construction phase. Despite the size, we were able to build safely and quickly.” – Brent Jarvis

Craned-in bays for safe, fast assembly

Each section of the hybrid roof was assembled on the ground before being craned into position with precision, a method that significantly reduced risk and labour hours on site. The roof remained securely in place for nearly a year, protecting the project through all weather conditions.

“The client was really pleased, not just with the result, but with how efficiently the whole process was delivered.” – Brent Jarvis

A huge thank you to the Fallproof team for their excellent work and for sharing these project images.
