Christchurch Lantern Festival
Multiple scaffold towers were erected for the Christchurch Lantern Festival with the help of Upright Scaffolding. The Lantern Festival is one of Christchurch’s largest and most popular free cultural events, held in the central city, starting at the Bridge of Remembrance and heading down the City Promenade into Victoria Square and The Commons. The Festival has traditionally been held as part of Christchurch‘s Chinese New Year celebrations.

Scaffold towers
Nick Pfahlert of Upright Scaffolding said “multiple scaffold towers, using Layher Allround Scaffolding, were dotted around the city for promotion of the Festival’s sponsors and to provide an entrance for the public into certain areas.”
Excellent scaffolding service
Nick continued “it was great fun to be involved in a significant event such as this. The Upright Scaffolding team were energised and motivated to perform to meet the client’s high expectations, particularly relating to time. The event organisers trusted the Upright Scaffolding team to provide an excellent service and to find solutions to any issue that popped up along the way.”
Thank you to Nick Pfahlert of Upright Scaffolding for the use of these photos.
