Cue Vue Apartments Rooftop Scaffolding
Located on Short Street in Auckland’s CBD, the Cue Vue Apartments re-roofing project would have been a tall order for regular scaffolding companies, however it was no problem for the team at Upright Access Systems.
Top level scaffolding
Mick Curran, Upright Access Systems said “the apartment block re-roof project lasted about 16 weeks and had Layher Allround Scaffolding on two sides of the building. We used a GEDA 500 hoist to move all the gear, including the Layher Aluminium Beams, to the top level, which was 50 metres above Short Street.”

Engineers certified design
Mick continued “the Layher engineering team were a great help, assisting with the design, which was a challenge due to height of the building and it being in a high wind area. The design was certified by Cook Costello Consulting Engineers.”
Another large project
The client was very happy with Upright Access Systems and the access they provided, so much so that the client has already lined-up another large project for Mick and his team.
