Stadium Propping Featured Job of the Year 2010
Winner New Zealand
Congratulations to Shane Brazier and team at Brazier Scaffolding for 'Stadium Propping' Featured Job of the Year 2010 - Winner New Zealand.
Brazier Scaffolding were asked to construct four Layher propping scaffolds on the North Stand at Forsyth Barr Stadium in Dunedin. The scaffolds served three functions:
  1. Be able to take a raker beam weight of 40 tonnes
  2. Provide access to scaffold on the site
  3. Provide a working platform for the stitching of the beams.
"We erected four of these towers which we made craneable to save time in labour due to a very tight construction programme," said Shane Brazier, Director Brazier Scaffolding .

Thank you to Shane Brazier of Brazier Scaffolding for use of this photo.
