Momi Bay Fiji

One of the largest resort projects to be undertaken in the Pacific is taking shape at Momi in Fiji, with a range of residential sections with magnificent views being offered for sale. The project encompasses close to 400 hectares of land fronting the pristine waters of Momi Bay, 30 minutes drive south of Nadi on Fiji's main island of Veti Levu.

The 140 hectare first stage of development is well underway with a spectacular Marriott Resort & Spa hotel due to be opened early next year along with a Peter Thomson-designed golf championship golf course. There are also a total of 382 residential sites. The SpeedyScaf scaffolding is from our secondhand stock and is being used for the construction of guest rooms being built in the guest rooms being built in a traditional Fijian canoe-style design and located on a narrow peninsula between the sea and the lagoon.

There will be 22 above-water bungalows located out across the centre of the lagoon, the first overwater accommodation to be developed in Fiji. There will also be 61 two and three bedroom hotel villas, designed by well known New Zealand architect Simon Carnachan, and positioned alongside the golf course. The photo was taken by James Fyfe (trying to persuade us that he was working even while he was on leave!)
