Ireland Wins Bungy Rugby

It's not just the World Cup that Ireland excels in - they recently won the Inaugural International Bungy Rugby Test Match. Once again, England was on the losing end, losing 43:13 in this gravity-defying rugby match.

Layher Allround and Event systems provided the substructure for the bungee rugby event hosted by O2, the telecommunications company and the offi cial sponsor of the Irish National Rugby Team.

Twelve acrobatic rugby players and cheerleaders took part in the game 20 metres above the ground, harnessed to especially designed abseiling wiring rigs.
