Grosvenor Square Suspended Platform

An 800m² suspended platform was required to access the glass canopy over Grosvenor Square, which links Sydney's CBD with The Rocks area. Instant Access Australia, Major Projects division, used 300 lineal metres of 450mm deep Layher aluminium lattice girders to support the platform. "We needed the platform to be as light as possible while maintaining a high load rating," said Ben Franey. "Using light weight aluminium beams allowed us to complete the job in just six days."
