BP Refinery Stairs

Simple, clean and effective, these 5 metre wide stairs at the BP Refinery in Brisbane allow access for over 500 workers each day.

The stairs consist of two 2.57m wide bays each locked together with twin wedge couplers. A 3m long landing at the top formed with deck sections supported by bridging ledgers meets up with the concrete pathway at the back. The decks used for the stairs are held down with Layher locking clamps.
