The BNZ in Queen Street is being demolished. Layher SpeedyScaf provides a basis for screen protection around three sides of the building while it's being demolished.
The scaffold will come down in stages as the building is demolished. There was no need for toeboards as it is not a working scaffold. The scaffold is tied into the building with the normal Layher tie system, which are taken out as the levels are dismantled.
The scaffold covers three sides, 27m down both sides and 33m along the front, all at 18m high.
It took three men three days a side, which the client was very impressed with.
